WITH BATED BREATH
Series of paintings. 2024-2025. Acrylic on canvas. Lviv, Ukraine.
The series is the result of performative works that have appeared since 2020. I address the themes of absence, death and emptiness which are strongly tight with the war and the questions it raises. The presence of a human being is manifested in various situations. One of its signs is clothing, which indicates its size, character and preferences, tells its story, and indicates whether this story is still ongoing. Clothing becomes a symbolic memorial of a temporality.

CONCRETE WALLS
Series of paintings. 2020-2021. Oil on canvas. Lviv, Ukraine.
What seems to be nothing or invisible has shapes and shadows anyway. This series is dominated by grey colours and geometric forms ruined by layers. Something was destroyed and something was born.

Life as it is and as it is not. Art Point Gallery. Intellias, Lviv / Ukraine. 2022

RED
Series of paintings. 2020-2021. Oil on canvas. Lviv, Ukraine.
The period of Covid-19 was a time of anxiety but also it became a time of silence and calm. I had never worked so fruitfully as then.
It began in March. The windows were open, the studio was flooded with sunlight. Sometimes I would draw the curtains and watch the shadows – my figure was walking among the squares and rectangles that, like a city, were projected onto the floor.
Solo exhibition:
Life as it is and as it is not. Art Point Gallery. Intellias, Lviv / Ukraine. 2022

AFTER PERFORMANCE
Series of drawings. 2020. Ink on paper. Lviv, Ukraine.
The period of covid19 pandemic confinement has initiated a project "Dialogue" in collaboration with B. Barbara Le Béguec Friedman (France). It consisted of everyday performances. Some of them became a inspiration for these drawings.
We are here and now in a performative piece. Is it possible to catch this moment by brush?

KITA STOTELE
Series of paintings. 2022. Watercolour, markers, paper. Vilnius, Lithuania.
This is the first phrase that immediately became clear to me here in Lithuanian – "Наступна зупинка" ("Next stop"). I juggle this Lithuanian-Ukrainian string in my mind, I repeat it: Kita stotelė - Наступна зупинка - Kita stotelė - Наступна зупинка - Kita - Kita - Kita - Kita - Kita…
I have a special itinerary here. The landscape rubs against the now, against the movement, speed, trees, stones, walls, houses, sun, leaves, autumn, September and October, colour and thoughts in the bus. This is my endless agitation by temporality. A multivectoral flow of bindings, configurations, collisions, encounters, of fullness and emptiness, waiting and living.

NUDE
